My name is Luis Soria, and I have been an educator for the past 4 years. I graduated from Southwestern Adventist University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. This will be my first year at Fort Worth Adventist Junior Academy, and I could not be more excited to share the love of Jesus with these amazing students.
My goal in education is to have students become lifelong learners and achievers. By implementing Problem Based Learning in the classroom, students will learn how to understand the question at hand and develop ways to overcome any obstacle in front of them. I believe any student can learn, and that begins by understanding their way of learning and teaching in a way that best helps the student.
I have a passion for teaching, and an even bigger passion for learning. I believe that learning never ends and can be fun and enjoyable. I get excited about the subjects I teach, and that excitement can be contagious. By teaching through activities, games, and projects, students can get hands on experience and real-world application skills that will not only help them throughout the rest of their educational career, but in the real world as well.
By God’s grace, these students will grow mentally and spiritually, eager to pursue God and further their education. This school is committed to excellence and the wellbeing of our students. Through proper guidance and care, our hope is to prepare these students for Christ’s soon Second Coming.
