First and Second grade at FWAJA is a place full of adventures where we can learn about the power of God in our lives and His amazing, caring character. We can practice kindness with our friends in different activities as we go through the day. We learn different Bible songs that help our growth, and lead our minds to be consecrated to God. We learn Bible Verses by putting music to verses, making them simple and fun to learn.
First and Second grade is a classroom where we experience lots of hands-on activities for Math, Science and Social Studies. We use hands on activities such as STEM boxes, which allow and encourage each child to experiment, build, and explore different ways to be creative. In our classroom writing is important and we create books about experiences that we have had in our lives.
In First and Second grade, we treat each other with love and respect. We pray every morning to ask God to be the center of our school, our classroom and our hearts.
